David Altschuler, a Los Angeles resident since 1959, studied Psychology at UCLA and Law at the University of San Diego. His business ownerships since 1975 have included light manufacturing, pre-school education, and financial services. With his wife Sharon he has raised 6 children; the eldest of whom is Devorah Steinberg who lives with her family in Palo Alto and helps educators in Northern California. David's other interests and pursuits include history, classical music, and racquetball. |

Devorah Steinberg (née Altschuler) was raised in Southern California. She spent the last few years involved in both child and adult education. Last year she began helping teachers become better prepared for their future. She still teaches history several times a week and in her spare time takes care of her husband and two sons. |
